From time to time we like to work on concept projects that we create from scratch here at Dekota HQ. This is fun for us as it allows us to set the parameters and work on something totally different and experimental without having any boundaries.​

Wacko Taco is one of these concepts. We had seen a lot of 50's and 60's old school character illustrations being used within the more hip and trendy hospitality openings and we really wanted to experiment with this style. Therefore the little guy you see jumping for joy is Wacko, and yes you've guessed it, he's a taco!

Developing the brand from this character led us to a bold colour palette which is pretty unique to the market right now. So we developed mock ups for the various types of packaging and merchandise that this establishment would require.

Taking it one step further we visualised how this brand could look externally on an existing premises in Birmingham.
